The Texas BBA Parents Council Scholarship is our newest Scholarship opportunity solely for McCombs undergraduate students studying abroad on exchange programs. Generously sponsored by the Texas BBA Parents Council, the scholarship is valued at $2,000 and is awarded to students going to various locations around the globe. Each applicant was chosen based on summaries written in response to questions such as ‘In what ways will you be a good ambassador before, during, and after your study abroad experience?’ We are tremendously excited to introduce this scholarship into our bi-yearly application process and are grateful to the Parents Council  for making long term study abroad a reality for more McCombs students. The Council serves as a platform for parents of enrolled business students to be involved with McCombs and to support BBA Program Office programs and initiatives.

“I am honored to receive one of the first BBA Parent Council Scholarships. I plan to use the money to further my travel and explore more of the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. I hope to use this money to visit more historically significant sites and better appreciate and learn about the culture of these beautiful places.”

“The BBA Parents Council Scholarship will enhance my Study Abroad experience in Australia by allowing me to afford extra-curricular activities. Because of the funding, I will have a stress-free experience, allowing me to focus on the main reasons I wanted to study abroad: cultural diversity and global networking.”
